In my opinion, Sparks is hands down the best venue to be at for Hot August Nights. Other venues might have their "day" but Sparks has a consistent crowd for the entire week. Cruises each night and an incredible amount of top notch entertainment. Plus...The Nugget Casino Resort hosts the Official Hot August Nights Drag Races & Burnouts as well as the Nugget Ultimate Classic Car Competition, Best Stock Original and Best Stock Restored Competition.  Hot August Nights Drag Races & Burnouts is an event worth seeing! Classic competitors race down a 1/16 of a mile track held in the west parking lot at the Nugget Casino Resort.   But don't take our word for it. Click on the video below to see for yourself.
